Fidelis I. Agbapuruonwu is a seasoned trial lawyer and compliance executive whose career spans elite law firms, multinational business leadership, and complex federal litigation.
Before founding FideCath Law Firm, he served as Chief Compliance Officer and Head of Business Development for a global enterprise, overseeing legal and regulatory matters across seven countries. His prior practice includes senior litigation roles at Mayer Brown LLP and Pepper Hamilton LLP (now Troutman Pepper Hamilton Sanders LLP), and practiced as an associate at Baker & Hostetler LLP.
His practice is defined by meticulous investigation, disciplined strategy, and a trial-ready philosophy informed by ethical judgment and practical realism.

- Represented Google and YouTube as part of the Mayer Brown litigation team in complex, high-stakes copyright litigation brought by the English Premier League (alleging widespread unauthorized posting of match footage), addressing DMCA safe harbor and secondary liability issues.
- Represented a partner of Ernst & Young as a member of the defense team in federal tax-shelter investigations before the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
- Represented Grant Thornton LLP as a member of the litigation team in multi-million-dollar securities fraud litigation arising under Rule 10b-5.
- Represented clients in enforcement actions brought by the U.S. Department of the Treasury, including matters involving the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).
